About our founder

Dr Susannah Robertson-Hart, expert in workplace mental health and psychosocial risk management Susannah is a highly experienced Occupational Psychologist with 21 years in workplace mental health. 

She is a Chartered Psychologist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC. Holding a Psychology degree, a Master’s in Organisational Psychology, and a PhD in Business and Management, she brings a unique blend of academic depth and practical expertise.

Susannah has worked extensively with UK and global organisations across industries, providing expert consultancy on mental health strategy, psychosocial risk management, and workplace wellbeing. She has held in-house leadership roles with strategic responsibility for mental health, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities organisations face.

With seven years as the BBC’s mental health lead, Susannah has specialist expertise in TV and film, ensuring production teams, contributors, and creatives are protected in high-stress environments. More recently, she has developed a deep understanding of psychosocial risks in digital safety and content integrity roles, working with social media platforms, AI trainers, and content moderation teams to manage the psychological impact of their work.

Her expertise also spans the music industry, emergency services, higher education, and financial services, where she has consulted on mental health, resilience, and workplace wellbeing.

At Healthy Work Psychology, Susannah delivers highly specialised, credible, and bespoke services to employers, drawing on her research background, consultancy experience, and strategic leadership skills.
